Mumbai International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (MIAL), a joint venture between the GVK led consortium (74%) and Airports Authority of India (26%), was awarded the mandate of modernizing and upgrading CSIA in February 2006.

MIAL's vision is to transform CSIA to one of the world’s best airports that consistently delights customers and be the pride of Mumbai. For this purpose, MIAL has engaged well-known international experts in airport design and operations. The transformation of CSIA is a one-of-its-kind unique infrastructural project in the world, unlike any other airport development project. Since taking over operations, MIAL has brought about significant improvements in the operations of the airport.
In a short span of three years, MIAL has received international and national recognitions for its efforts. CSIA is the first international airport to be conferred with the 2008 Frost & Sullivan Aeronautical Excellence ‘Airport of the Year’ Award. CEMS Rickshaw Challenge

The Rickshaw Challenge, a series of autorickshaw events produced and hosted by Chennai Event Management Services, was India’s first response to the rising trend of adventure tourism. The events of the Rickshaw Challenge provide once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for adventure tourists around the globe to deeply explore the culture, mystery, and character of one of the most enchanting countries on Earth. Currently, the Rickshaw Challenge franchise is comprised of four events including:
The Classic Run – the original Rickshaw Challenge event started in 2006
The Mumbai Xpress – the more popular of Rickshaw Challenge events, created in response to requests for a longer route from the Classic Run
The Tech Raid – a uniquely themed event that explores the coexistence of the high-tech and no-tech of India
The Malabar Rampage – an intense journey and exploration of South India, a region of rich culture, cuisine, and colors unlike anywhere else in the world.

The idea for participants is to learn how to fuel and drive an autorickshaw, then personally drive that autorickshaw from one point in India to another, along the way completing a series of challenges worth points that determine a winner at the end. If this wasn’t challenging enough, each of the routes of the Rickshaw Challenge contain daily adventures based on the topography, history, culture, or reputation of a particular location. The rewards, both personal and material, of participating in a Rickshaw Challenge event are unforgettable.

By working with Round Table India, a non-profit organization designed to provide educational opportunities for underprivileged children, Rickshaw Challenge participants do more than observe India. They get involved. The Rickshaw Challenge is about the exploration and discovery of a place so populated, well-known, and researched, but still so vast, enchanting, and mysterious: India. Welcome to the adventure of a lifetime.

Hamari Suraksha Hamari Suraksha

A web-based system to register senior citizens, home owners, businesses, employees, domestic help workers, tenants and others with the objective of creating an environment to ensure safety and security of citizens by partnering with local police, governmental agencies, citizens and businesses.
Hamari Suraksha SSPL (HS) was established to provide a technology platform to address an ongoing problem in the Indian subcontinent: the number of crimes committed by domestic servants and floating workers. Many of the jobs in our homes, shops, businesses, and offices are filled by immigrants from neighboring countries who may or may not be legal residents. If a crime is committed, the police may have no photograph, address, or information on the suspect.
Hamari Suraksha, which in Hindi means “Our Security,” gives employers and homeowners a reliable means of verifying the character or antecedents of the people they employ. The creators of HS have partnered with government, financial institutions, law enforcement and state intelligence agencies to provide customized solutions to businesses and individuals.
HS currently provides the following solutions and services:
• Identity Management
• Fingerprint scanning and matching
• Smart Card-based Enterprise/Human Security Management
These are all integrated in a web portal at www.hamarisuraksha.com.
The Identity Management system allows employers, homeowners, domestic workers and employees to register themselves and have their identity authenticated and validated. The system integrates various technologies including web cams, fingerprint scanning and matching, identity document (passport, driver’s license, etc.) scanning, and smart card technologies.
